Buddhist Churches of America
Columbus Zen Shin Sangha
The first Zen Shin Sangha was formed by Buddhist Churches of America priest Koshin Ogui at Cleveland Buddhist Temple. Zen Shin Buddhist practice includes Zen chanting, walking and sitting meditation. It also includes chanting, analytical and sitting meditation on the Heart Sutra, in which the Buddha teaches emptiness, that things are not inherently self existent.
